Storage boxes are my jam! Yep, it might be a little sad to some but since becoming a Mama I’m obsessed with organising everything from toys to cereal and @oxouk have the BEST organising range ever. I really umed and ahed about whether to upload this picture or not... why? Because my body is completely different to what it was 10 months ago! ⠀ ⠀ .⠀ ⠀ I look at this picture and see a non existent waist, wide hips, a mum tum and milk bottle legs that need more than a bit of colour! ⠀ ⠀ .⠀ ⠀ I get annoyed at myself for seeing these things because ultimately my body grew a baby - that is incredible. I grew a perfect little human and my body is bound to be different to what it was pre-pregnancy. ⠀ ⠀ .⠀ ⠀ I have started back at my HIIT classes three times a week which is making me feel better in myself but equally I do need to remember that 14 weeks ago I did have major surgery, it was only yesterday I was reminded that your stomach muscle is ripped open during a caesarean. And as for the diet... I’ve been trying all week but breastfeeding just makes me super hungry alll the time. Admittedly, I have been eating more of the right things for breakfast, lunch and dinner (apart from curry night last night ) but I’ve also really been snacking! ⠀ ⠀ .⠀ ⠀ I want to make positive changes so I feel happier in myself. We’re going away in September and I just want to feel comfortable. ⠀ ⠀ .⠀ ⠀ I need to remember that my body is absolutely incredible - it brought a new life into the world. I need to learn to love my body because my body gave me a baby. So here’s to trying to have a little bit more self love.
