A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no laws, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path ✨ Last Mother’s Day was the worst day of my life. Aubrey and Caleb were Hospitalized for RSV and Aubrey was in critical condition with a severe case of pneumonia. When we arrived to the Hospital on Mother’s Day morning we were told she was not improving and they couldn’t promise us any outcomes. I spent the day crying in my husbands and my mother’s arms praying for God to keep our baby girl alive. Every day since I have remained eternally grateful. So needless to say this is my first Mother’s Day at home with my 5 healthy babies ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ When we first found out we were having triplets I didn’t know how I’d juggle 5 kids. Now I can’t imagine my life without them. Us mamas are tougher than we think and stronger than we can ever imagine. My first mother's day 15 weeks ago, on a Sunday, I gave birth to Miriam and I became a mother. Before giving birth, I had so many questions and I was so nervous. I felt so young and clueless, I had never changed a diaper or really held a baby before. And the first month, I still felt so insecure and I was really doubting my motherhood cause nothing seemed to work. She was crying, I was tired and it took me a bit to understand my new life. It did come as quite a shock honestly. Luckily I didn't go in a dark place because I had my husband by my side. He encouraged me in a way that made me love him even more. I knew he was going to be a good father, but honestly I didn't think that he will be such a good husband. He made sure that I knew I was a good mother, everytime I was down he would hug me and remind me of that. The first month was tough. But suddenly something changed, I guess we got to know each other better. Suddenly it seemed natural and I stopped wondering if I do things as it should be done, stopped wondering what others think if she cries or if I breastfeed in the middle of the street. Suddenly I was like "I got this" and now, well it's still hard, but I see the purpose and it makes this journey easier. For all the new mothers out there, if I should give an advice, it would be to not overthink it and to only have few quality people around you. Don't let no one stress you more than you are. Until you feel like you have more control on it, just close yourself in a bubble together with your baby and get to know each other. Surround yourself with happy thoughts and trust YOUR instincts. You know your baby better than anyone else. Ah I could write forever about motherhood. It's something that has changed me. I now have so much respect for all the mothers out there! Wenn alle heute die Mama glücklich machen wollen, dann gehts zum Hafengeburtstag! Ich weiß gar nicht wann wir zuletzt da waren, Toni mag so große Menschenmassen nicht und dann noch mit kleinen Kindern, sein absoluter Graus! Und jaaaa ich kann ihn jetzt so verstehen. Es gab Momente wo ich dachte, warum tust du dir das an? Pure Reizüberflutung. Matteo war so aufgekratzt, er ist andauernd abgehauen und Pepe wollte laufen. "Schatz - Du Pepe, Ich Matteo!" Ob wir entspannt waren? Fragt nicht! Wir gehen dann das nächste mal wieder im Wald spazieren... Ohhmm! Wie macht ihr das? Oder meidet ihr sowas auch lieber?
