Neben den Pflanzen habe ich noch eine Passion. Ich gehe soweit, dass die Liebe dafür sogar größer ist. Neben meiner Begeisterung für Kinematografie hat es mir vor allem Filmmusik angetan. Der Einsatz von Musik in Filmen hat mich schon immer fasziniert. Seit ein paar Jahren sammle ich nun Soundtracks auf Platten. Mein erster Score auf CD war von Michael Andrews zum Film Donnie Darko. Den Film habe ich damals wohl kaum verstanden aber die Musik, besonders 'Mad World', hatte eine regelrechte hypnotisierende Wirkung. Das ist jetzt 16 Jahre her. Jahre später habe ich eine Neuauflage von @deathwaltzrecs ergattert. Der Soundtrack hat über die Jahre nichts an Atmosphäre eingebüßt und ich werde regelrecht melancholisch beim Hören. Nur die Präferenzen haben sich etwas geändert. That's it. DAY 22 - DO NOT GET STONED TO THIS ALBUM. I could have posted #BobMarley or #PostMalone to be sarcastic, but these here are two albums I absolutely LOVE, and are both a bit out there and experimental. My Kasabian appears to be a 10" double LP, the white parts glow in the dark which looks really cool when the room is dimly lit. Demon Dayz is in my opinion one of Damon Albarn's finest hours. And a VERY pricey collectors piece before its reissue. Fakes were made, it was that sought after. But I used today as an opportunity to show off two albums I think are sensational. So here you go, add these to your collection if you don't already have them! On this day, 3 years ago we got this beautiful album - Everything You've Come to Expect Ltd the second album by @thelastshadowpuppets , featuring Alex Turner, @mileskane , James Ford, and Zach Dawes, with string arrangements by Owen Pallett. It was released on 1 April 2016 on Domino Records. The album was recorded in the summer of 2015 in Rick Rubin's Shangri La Studios in Malibu, California. The album cover art consists of a photo of singer Tina Turner dancing, as photographed by Jack Robinson in November 1969 in New York City.
