In 29 days I get to revisit the place where #mywhy was born! ☀️ . . I shall have peace of mind that i will fit into my seat on the plane with no over spill! I'll be relieved that no seat belt extension is required and that the table folds out in front of me with plenty of room to spare! I'll also be able to walk down the aisle without having to walk sideways breathing in! I shall be quietly confident on the beach wearing my biggest smile and not hiding out at sea! There will be no fear of breaking the sun lounger as i I lie down and certainly no struggling to get up! I shall have the greatest pleasure in joining in with whatever activities I fancy whether it be aqua aerobics in the hotel pool in the morning or risk getting launched from the crazy squab out at sea in the afternoon preferably after I've digested lunch! No more being left out! . . I'll enjoy wearing the clothes that I love instead of having to wear what fits in colours/patterns that I dislike! ❤ I can take my pick! . . Most of all I get to create the most wonderful memories with both my beautiful girls ~ my world and two heartbeats ❤❤ . . P.S. I'll still cringe when I have to show my passport photo though! ‍♀️ For the last seven days I went back to basics: I tracked everything on the WW app, I rolled over my dailies daily, left my weeklies untouched, got my 7 blue dots, weighed my food out when necessary on my WW scales, cut out sugary snacks and replaced them with plenty of delicious fresh fruit & veg all whilst enjoying the odd iced latte and of course plenty of Halo Top ice cream! . . So today at weigh-in I was extremely chuffed when the scales revealed I'd lost -4lbs! Hello goal range...again! . . Today's weight 11st 2lbs and 21 days till holiday! ✈ . . With literally 22 days to go until Cyprus ✈ and 2 more weigh-ins ⚖ after this Thurs, I'm seriously, seriously more motivated than I have been all year round! ‍♀️ I've been putting % in. Whether I get 100% out is another story as we all know our bodies behave in peculiar ways (well mine does!). ‍♀️ I can eat cake and lose one week, be totally on the ball and gain the next! Meet Lyla ♥️♥️♥️ . . Her unusual circumstances brought her to our home ~ long story! But she was very loved and her owner was distraught to see her go. Lyla is one years old. She is a house cat and litter trained. She is extremely loving and affectionate. I don't know what breed she is. She has a pug like face! She has short little legs and a small tail. Her tummy is a little bit big and she isn't totally steady on her back legs. She walks but wobbles, bless her. I'm hoping that one of you guys might be able to help in identifying her breed as I'm clueless. But what I do know is that she has come into a very loving home (whether it be temporary/permanent) and will be treated like a Princess . I'm sooo sooooo in love ❤ . . I think Marseille has been one of the best trips of the year so far! Ive opted for nature and hiking which means I’ve neglected the city, so I’ll have to come back again! I thought I was feeling serene and content after visiting Malaga but I feel twice as good after this trip, it’s really helped me unwind. - Really enjoying my exploration of the South of France his year, I visited Nice Carnival and Monaco back in February. I really want to go to Corsica next and then Toulouse, I might even take my car across on the ferry as my main motivation for passing the test and getting a car was so that I could drive abroad, time to make that happen! - Really looking forward to going home and getting stuck into a few big projects that I have coming up now. I keep saying that I need to get myself a blog setup for my personal musings and travel tales, I am going to hold myself accountable and get this done by the end of June. Since this is the month of a new decade for me and I know that new opportunities are out there for me to take or create! - I’m feeling revitalised and ready to get stuck in (and hit the gym as I’ve eaten soooo much pasta and bread out here!). MONDAY MOTIVATION : Keeping myself motivated by looking back at old photos which I know I do a lot but it really does help me and so I’m focusing on a couple of goals this month. • Luckily so far in July I’ve had 2 great weeks of being good each day but I know “time of the month” is due soon. I’ve recognised my usual process from previous months and this month I’m going to try and see if I can resist my usual response of over indulging on food the days before totm arrives and fight ⛔️ it if I can. Yesterday definitely challenged me but I’m glad I recognised the signs and had lots of water and zero heroes on hand to help. So I guess time will tell during this next week. I’m actually usually totally the opposite during totm itself and find I’m not that hungry so I’m just wanting to try and balance things if I can and also ensure I eat better during that time too. At my age of 49 my body could possibly be coming to a time in my life that could challenge me so just wanting to recognise any signs these days and just learn from them all. • Also our holiday is now exactly 8 weeks away and so I want to keep my new holiday clothes in mind as I’m waiting and keeping most of them for then and so want to ensure I’m feeling fantastic in them. • Looking back at pictures doesn’t always work for everyone, some don’t even like looking at old photos but for me when I need to keep my focus it really helps. Do what works for you and just keep going.
