At 1 am (just in time to get at least 8 hours of sleep) this past Friday I finally finished this dress and wore it to attend one of my best friend’s wedding! Not gonna lie, I was a total zombie by the time I got to stitching the final seams but I am so happy to finally add a fun and flouncey midi dress to my wardrobe. I have this "problem" ever since I started sewing where I get strawberry fabric (because I can't resist) and then I like it so much that I never actually USE the strawberry fabric. . I just now realized that the collection has gotten rather big. Do I need to start an obscure hashtag for myself and try to get this all sewn up this year? #sewyourstrawberries . Some are for me, some are for Posy, all are extremely cute. Don't even tell me if you see good strawberry fabric anywhere else because I will probably want it (just kidding, totally tell me).

Second @paper_theory #zadiejumpsuit is finished, and it’s still as comfy as ever . This time I shortened the bodice by 1cm and took 1cm out of the side seams on the front and back bodice, as it was a little roomy last time. I also shortened the rise by 2 inches but added 2 inches to the leg at the hem. I slimmed the legs by 3 inches at the hem, as I did last time (just noticed I tend to switch between imperial and metric...! ‍♀️). . I think (?) the fabric is viscose twill from @clothhouse - really lovely to work will and will be ideal in the summer months. This definitely won’t be the last time I’ll use the Zadie but maybe a dress hack next time? .
