1️⃣Pull-ups 4x10 (I don’t go full stretch at the bottom to keep the tension on my lats)
2️⃣Close grip pulldowns 4x10 (I end the motion with a slight backward bent to engage more of the lower part of the lats which attach to your pelvis)
3️⃣Bent-over rows 4x10 (Focus on really dragging the bar across your legs and into your belly)
4️⃣Seated cable rows 4x10 (fully engage your scapula on the concentric part and then slowly release them on the eccentric)
5️⃣Straight bar cable pullovers 4x12 (As I let go of the weight I bent over extra to get a great stretch at the top)
6️⃣Seated face pulls 4x12 (doing them seated really eliminates the swing I tend to put into the movement when doing them standing)

The picture on the left was the first “fitness” picture I ever posted online. It’s important to know though, that this isn’t when I started my journey. I’ve been an athlete my entire life; played 3 sports in high school and went on to play D1 lacrosse in college. I was no stranger to working out or going to the gym...Jan 2019 is just when I got the confidence to post about it.

Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Don’t compare your day 1 to someone else’s day 1000. Be better than you were yesterday, and that’s a win.

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love fruit. And it makes me sad that we’ve gotten to the point where people are afraid to eat fruit because of the sugar content.⠀

I purposely did not include macros in this guide. Why? Because people immediately become terrified when they see the sugar content.⠀
⠀
Meanwhile, fruit is SO much more than sugar. Including them in your diet will provide you with so many important micronutrients and health benefits. “Sugar” has become a curse word, but it should never deter you from eating produce. I mean, how silly does that sound?⠀

That being said, it’s always helpful to have an understanding of portion sizes, so use this guide to help you visualize what 100 calories of fruit looks like!⠀

Serving sizes vary, so these are ESTIMATES. Different types of apples may have different caloric values, and the oranges you’re eating one day may be larger than on another day. But generally speaking, these are the amounts you get for 100 calories.⠀

Apples are one of my favorite foods of all time, and have been for most of my life. I can’t imagine not incorporating fruit into my diet!⠀
