• selfish twinning • Yesterday I finally decided what I wanted to do with the Lily fabric I bought some weeks ago! I even found some golden binding fabric (is that how you call this in English?) and white piping in my stash to go with it! I chose to make the Zaria dress by La Maison Victor even though I was in doubt about the fabric being to thick for the knot at the front. Luckily that’s not a problem and it turned out just the way I hoped! I experimented with sewing the piping between the fabric and binding which is a precise task, but I really love the outcome! I will certainly use this trick more often to add an extra feature to a stretch garment. Even though I planned the flowers and bees to be perfectly places at the dress the remnants were exactly enough to make another piece for myself! It isn’t quite hard to guess what... Давным-давно одна девочка обещала еженедельно отчитываться о результатах учебы в @grasser_department . И перестала это делать, кажется, еще в прошлом году Спишем все на серую питерскую зиму, желание не расставаться с одеялом и авитаминоз) ⠀ И нет, учебу я не забросила) Учусь и по сей день. Хотя, признаюсь, "портной-закройщик" дается не так легко и просто, как остальные курсы‍Но на то оно и образование, через тернии к звездам и разряду) ⠀ Чему же я научилась за это время? Во-первых, конструировать и моделировать брюки, видеть и устранять дефекты их посадки (хотя над этим пунктом еще работать и работать), отшивать и проводить правильную ВТО ⠀ Во-вторых, все те же самые пункты касательно платья. С ним работать было легче и приятнее. Наверное, потому что я это уже немного умею, проходила КМП. А вот брюки оказались настоящим испытанием, со стадиями непонимания и отрицания ⠀ Ведь я их никогда не шила до этого! Ни одних, кроме спортивок. Ты сначала сажаешь макет: распарывашь, крутишь брючины, клеишь скотчем, меняешь лекала. Кроишь из основной ткани, и все по новому кругу: исправляешь одни дефекты посадки, вылезают другие. От примерки к примерке брюки сидят по-разному, объяснения этому нет Потихоньку начинаешь сходить с ума и подозревать, что кто-то перешивает их тебе назло, пока ты спишь))) В общем так я и хожу в должниках по вторым брюкам. Лежат они раскроенные больше месяца, ждут...Но, честное пионерское, уже морально собралась и на следующей неделе буду ими заниматься ⠀ А теперь о платье для @lavrik_soven : оно красивое! Из чудесной шерсти с люрексом из @lo_scampolo , которую мы выбрали сразу же и по большой любви❤️ ⠀ Застежка на пуговки на спинке, частичная подкладка, рукава со складкой, идеальная изнанка (уголки), пояс на полукольцах, подпуговичники. Само платье уже зачтено (т.е. преподаватель принял работу на клиенте, посмотрел посадку и качество пошива).
