Making has taught me to be gentle with myself. I used to get real mad at myself and agonize over the mishap. Now it’s getting easier to say “oh well, keep it moving”. Anyways, today was one of those days...I messed up a pair of modified #pantsno1 so I turned them into shorts. Yes, I wasted some of the beautiful linen fabric but I learned from it and now I have these lil cuties just in time for summer!! Day 18: Pants! These ones were from my uni graduate collection. Very comfy to wear. They are a linen/wool blend, I remember them being surprisingly fluffy to sew. I made this pair and an almost matching pair using the reverse side of the fabric because that was a nice colour too! The fit isn’t quite right on me. Need to have another look at the pattern.
