This is me. Tandem feeding. In public. Moments before our flight was about to take off. About 12 hours prior to this I told Scotty, “You will have to give one of the girls a bottle at the airport because I am NEVER going to tandem feed in public.” That went out the window pretty quickly as I had two screaming babies who would not accept bottles. So I shoved their blankets on each side of me and balanced them just right so they could nurse before we boarded. I think I laughed out loud as I remembered saying I would NOT do this under any circumstance! But the Mama instinct just kicks in. I didn’t feel embarrassed like I thought I would, I did however feel a little flustered as they made the last announcement for our flight to board (Side note....Seriously. I know our angels were helping us in major ways this morning, otherwise I’m certain we would’ve missed this flight!) I also remember feeling so proud of myself and so capable. I told Scotty, “Take a picture of me...this is awesome and I can’t believe I’m doing it!” Im sharing all of this because in case you are doubting yourself or feeling uncertain in some area of life, remember that you are WAY more capable than you know! You’re awesome. Be proud of yourself. Anything IS possible and you are always divinely guided.
