It's Win(e) Wednesday We're celebrating because we're a quarter of the way through our travel challenge, and it's a legit excuse to pop some champagne. Towards the end of last year we set ourselves a target, to visit all of the 40 Great Sites in the Occitanie region by the end of summer, and we've hit number 10! We've still got a bit to go but we're loving it and enjoying ticking them off as we explore. Looking back I wish I'd travelled more around Scotland when I was at home. I was always keen to hop on a plane and jet off to a foreign land with sunnier climes. Or... maybe there's just far too much I want to see in the world and its hard to get around everything. My travel destination list is continuously growing! Well friends...after 18 hours from door to door, we made it to our new space in Albertville last night, and it’s safe to say we’ve got a view like never before... + I’m grateful that before we departed we had the summer that we did: saying goodbye to those we love in the East Bay, driving across the US, camping out in beautiful national parks, our training at MTI and with the @cmalliance, and the great 4-5 weeks of quality time with beloved friends and family. + A HUGE THANK YOU to each one who played a part in our summer AND in our preparation for France over the past SIX years—it’s here!! Greek Mythology Over 4 days a giant spider (Ariane) and a 50 foot Minotaur (Astérion) roamed the streets of Toulouse as part of a street theatre exhibition, acting out 'The Guardian of the Temple' from Greek mythology as they went along. Dégustation des vins Last night I got the chance to attend a wine tasting event by #cavecorvinum sampling wine from the Pyrenean foothills. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone as the whole event was hosted in French and I survived, go me! It was a fun night with tasty nibbles supplied by the chef @restaurant_au_pois_gourmand My favourite was this refreshing white by #domainedelaumonier Typically I'm a red wine fiend which made this a very welcome surprise!
