Every walk of life we could walk around already defeated. Is there a chance this won’t work? ABSOLUTELY. But why live with our heads down when we can have hope? I’m not going to lie. The love and support we have received throughout our IVF journey has been overwhelming in the most wonderful way. - Our long journey was filled with so much hope, tears, anguish, heartbreak, happiness, sorrow... I can only continue to wish that our story helps others and provides hope. I never thought we would be here. I have spent these last several years thinking it would never happen. Our first little family photo! Three years ago from today we were #pupo (pregnant until proven otherwise). We transferred 2 grade 4AA embryos (perfect quality). We ended up with 10 that were mature and frozen. It is with a lot of thought and deep prayer, that we have come to a point and have decided, the two babies we are blessed with, is what completes our family and have signed the paperwork to release our 10 frozen embabies up for adoption. There's no way we could ever have them destroyed and having any more of our own just doesn't seem realistic for where we are in life. I hope our little blessings may bring hope and joy to other couples who are desperately praying for the amazing blessings we've been given.

It’s not glamorous. It’s nothing we ever thought we would deal with. It’s not guaranteed. But it’s also not the end all be all. IVF is here. And this time around...I know I’m not alone. Tag your friends who have been there for you through infertility. Or tag your friend who you have supported through their difficult season. Infertility is more pain than most can imagine. But we can get through it together.

You guys, I FREAKING DID IT!!! I gave myself this bad boy . Alex has ALWAYS given me PIO (I give all my own stomach shots though) because the angle of my backside is tough + that needle is crazy intimidating. I’ve had anxiety for over a week about giving myself these shots this weekend because Alex is out of town for work, but it went great!! I woke up, had a clear mindset and just did it. When you don’t have any other choice, it’s crazy what you can do even when your mind says you can’t. I feel like SUPER WOMAN. Bring on the next 4 days because I HAVE GOT THIS! UPDATED: Yes, I know I’m not supposed to use this size needle for the shot. It’s for the photo, it’s the needle I drew the meds with. I’m going into my 5th IVF Cycle; I know my needle sizes, and what’s appropriate for what med, so please stop messaging me with your advice and your comments about not knowing what I’m doing. SHEESH, I can’t believe people sit around being worried about needle sizes!
