Love this! A common misconception of intuitive eating is that you’ll just overeat all the foods you’ve been avoiding. What REALLY happens is that yes you might have cake (or in my case salty snacks) BUT your body will only crave it in moderation because you’re no longer telling yourself you can’t have it! *Transformation Tuesday*⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ A year ago I was with my friend @mcbri08 while she was picking up her wedding gown. We went to a section where all these gorgeous event gowns were at. I was looking through them stunned by how beautiful they were. I remember telling my friend “I wish I could fit into these gowns and I had somewhere to wear one”⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Little did I know a year later I would be shopping for one of those gorgeous gowns to walk on stage, at Beachbody’s Summit, as a finalist for the 2019 Beachbody Challenge. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Here I am crying while I write this because so many emotions come up! So my legs are dead today thanks to the first leg day yesterday in this program . Lower fix with my two sidekicks, my cheesy smile and a flex... Heavy weights, controlled movements and a 10 second hold at the end of each!! Try that!!! It feels good being confident in my own skin! Before I’d literally crop half my body out of a picture... delete everything or make someone take 1000 pictures at a certain angle until I got an acceptable one. And I usually would hide behind my kids or a big sweater just because I didn’t want to be seen! But I gotta tell you, I’m just 21 days that changed. I FELT happier because I was finally changing my body the proper way. The way I FELT changed first, the physical changes came steady but later.. it’s just amazing what you can do when you set out to accomplish a goal! It’s never too late to start!!!
