Its true when they say, the hardest part about surgery is not the surgery itself, but the RECOVERY/REHAB PROCESS. Few times I just cried out of frustration cz my leg just wont move/bend/extend the way i want it. Simple movement is a struggle. Now its down to your motivation and determination. Ever gone through something so crazy and so heartbreaking that you think it’ll never be something to look back and smile about? Girl, same. . ONE YEAR AGO I found out that I needed knee surgery. After so much struggling, pain and frustration of not knowing what was wrong with me or how to fix it - I finally got some answers three months later, I was under the scalpel getting that shit repaired. . I’ve been on and off wearing a knee brace of some sort for three years now. It’s just kind of an awkward and expensive extension of my thigh at this point... and I will wear it for as long as I need to. . The most amazing thing for me was and continues to be the connections I’ve made with people in similar situations. If it weren’t for my coaching business and my social media training then I never would have connected with the people that I have . For the strength and lack of pain I feel now, I would do it all again.
