I want them to know that I trust their decisions. ⁣ ⁣ Because these words doesn’t really mean anything, and when we step in and cut down their confidence, this will ultimately grow into self-doubt that they will have to fight long and hard to uproot.⁣ ⁣ To me it is more important to help them to foster awareness and to problem solve.⁣ ⁣ So here are some examples that I will start using with my kids. I got them from @forestschoolcan ⁣ ⁣ “Stay focused on what you’re doing.”⁣ “What is your next move?”⁣ “Do you feel safe there?”⁣ “Take your time.”⁣ “Does that branch feel strong and stable?”⁣ “I’m here if you need me.”⁣ “Please find a safe spot for your stick while you’re running.”⁣ “Watch out for other people and give them lots of space.”⁣ Ask him if he’s still having fun.”⁣ “Did you like that?
