I’ve been wanting this style of pants in my wardrobe for years and I finally found the perfect “before” to create them! I was able to save the side zipper and waistband from the skirt to make sewing these a breeze!! . . Major progress made over the last couple of days which is great because this needs to be finished tonight! . . The zip is in and I have the back seam allowance to finish as well as level off and hem the skirt. Even though the process has been RUSHED (to say the least) I am still rather happy with how it’s turning out. My only regret is cutting the skirt and bodice back on a double layer of fabric. Even though it was such a time saver, I really regret not taking the time to match the floral pattern on the fabric. No, c’est la vie! ‍♀️ . . Swipe right to see the Hong Kong seam finish!
