This week’s #thursdaythrowback is all about my successful experience on April 15th at the @bostonmarathon my finish time was nowhere near a PR for me, but it is the marathon finish I am most proud about I was completely traumatized by my 2018 experience so my intention going into this race was to GET IT DONE and enjoy every moment of it.. and that’s exactly what I did! All I wanted was to run at a pace that was still a decent workout for me, BUT that also allowed me to take in every bit of the course ♀️ I’m so happy to say that I remember every single part of the race this time and had the most fun I’ve ever had during a marathon ♀️

This race was the last of way too many back-to-back races since last fall and it left me with a burst of motivation to plan my next training season and work on achieving BIG PRs including a sub-3 finish

I thought running Boston once was going to be good enough, but now I see why everyone goes back year after year the entire weekend is incredible and the people surrounding the race are truly the most inspirational humans—the runners, spectators, organizers, and especially the survivors and those that experienced 2013’s tragedy

1️⃣ First, you need to be aware of your current state, you need be aware of your energy, your emotions, your feelings, and what you’ve experienced at that moment! ‼️

2️⃣ Once your aware of all that, you need to accept it at that exact moment, and then tell yourself your going to change that shit! ‼️

3️⃣ You need to then get your ass up, think of your goals and the things that get you F**king Pumped! ‼️
.
4️⃣ Grab that energy and those thoughts hold them in your mind and stay focused! ‼️
.
5️⃣ Then as your holding them start jumping, moving your arms, run, squat, whatever Movement makes you feel good and powerful! ‼️
.
WERE ALMOST THERE! ‼️

6️⃣ Now that you have all this beastly energy built up inside of you it’s time to take action! ‼️

7️⃣ So now that its ON! You have to go after the first thing you need to change or complete at that exact moment and you go after it! ‼️

8️⃣ Last, you move onto the next thing you have to do and remember to keep all those thoughts, good feelings, new emotions, and high energy in your mind and in your body the best way you can! ‼️

9️⃣ Great! You’ve changed your STATE! ‼️
