Well today’s Valentine’s Day conception wasn’t quite what I had in mind or envisioned. 12 months after being referred for fertility treatment and 30 months after our journey began trying we had our first transfer. Two embryos were thawed yesterday and sadly one didn’t make it so another was thawed. Today they were both at the “2 cell stage” when they would have expected them to be at “4 cell stage”. Because of this and because they were unable to differentiate between which out of the two was the strongest to put back in me, I asked for both to come home. They agreed. I’m feeling positive, slightly disappointed but also keeping realistic that anything might happen. For now I’m going to enjoy this moment being “PUPO”. Pregnant until proven otherwise. Sorry for the break from post lately. Recovering from OHSS was no joke. I am FINALLY feeling back to myself. It was nice spending the holiday with my family but there was just something missing. We should have been able to test Christmas morning to see if our little embryo stuck so when you get your hopes set on something like that it just kinda changes how the day goes. But that’s okay. I know all I can do now is take the best care of myself that I can over then next couple months to prepare my body for our next step. ♥️ And just keep thinking about those 8 beautiful top grade frozen babies we got waiting on us.

So many negatives. So many disappointments. So many times have I told myself I’m not good enough. My body can’t even do what it’s MADE FOR.
